APPOINTMENTYour kind words mean so much to our team!
We love hearing your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to share it with us.
We have been bringing our pets to Vancouver Vet since 1977 (my parents) and now my own pets. They don’t talk you into unnecessary tests or treatments. Our 11 year old Lab had a sudden loss of balance and was extremely disoriented we feared the worst and were preparing our family for it. We called and were put on the schedule that same day. After Dr. Velardi’s examination he determined that it was not as bad as we thought it was and would most likely get better on its own. We pushed for a blood test to be sure and were called after 8pm by Dr. V that night with the results. I am so thankful for Dr. V’s knowledge or we may have made a permanent decision for a temporary problem. In the 30+ years we have been going to Vancouver Vet we have never had an issue with their professionalism or compassion to our pets. My dog actually loves to come and see them.
We have taken our dogs and cat to Vancouver Veterinary Hospital for over twenty years. I would not go anywhere else. Informative, thoughtful, caring, gentle, willing to give options and understand not only our animals but our love of our animals.
After being put through the wringer by our usual vet’s office, Vancouver Vet Hospital and Dr. Velardi treated our cat for less than half of what Banfield Pet Hospital had quoted us. Banfield’s only option, besides a freakishly expensive operation, was euthanasia. We want to thank Dr. Velardi from the bottom of our hearts for his compassion and affordability, because if we had listened to the other vet we’d have put our precious kitty to sleep a week ago. P.S. My husband says, “Banfield felt like being worked over by a used car salesman, but Dr. Velardi and his staff Rock!
We took our 16 year old cat in because he couldn’t stand or walk. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The doctor listened to us, examined our cat and gave us his suggestions. Unfortunately our cat had to be put down, but the doctor didn’t try to talk us into a lot of extra, useless tests. As you can imagine we were devastated by our loss. Several days later we received a very nice condolence card from the hospital. We’ve since taken several of our other animals there for checkups and had the same great service. Their prices seem reasonable as well.
